FIRST OFF: BE PATIENT! It takes a minute or so to load, sorry so long But I bet it's worth it
The sound you hear is something new that I'm trying. I'm not claiming that this is my own idea. I know I've seen it done somewhere before, but I've always wanted to add ambiance to a photograph, and I finally had the chance to, so here it is!
This is Ely Cathedral in England. Being in a place like this is just amazing. Once hearing the sound of the choir echo through the cathedral, I knew I had to put it on the picture somehow. I hope you like! I might do something like this more often if you do
Its a wonderful technology... without that, you would have the windows totally overblown! Especially in churches... when you were going to photograph those mosaic-windows, you loose all the detail in a splash of light, unless you use HDR...
Ha this is one that I had to pay to get permission to take pictures in. Yea I've found so many uses for HDR, even if it's barely used. I love the detail I get ...and not having to worry about overblown skies or underexposed foregrounds
The one time I went there we weren't allowed in while the choir was singing, so this is great.
I'm glad you like it
HDR rocks...
